Great Weekend.....

First of all I am really sad about the Cardinals and even more upset that when I got back from my trip Troy had taught the girls not only to dislike the Cards but the Steelers chant as well. I am working on what revenge will be sufficient enough for this sever of a punishment =) Please let me know if you have any suggestions. This weekend Troy and I went to dinner at a really good teppanyaki restaurant and we had so much fun. Although Troy was sick he was a trooper about it. Sunday was the best day I've had here so far....the weather was perfect 64 (lol who would have though that lil miss AZ would think that is nice weather). We took the girls to the harbor and made a picnic and at by the water. Walked around fells point and looked at all the shops and boutiques. We all had a great time.

We took the girls bowling yesterday since we all seem to love playing on the WII...first of all not that it's a big deal but 2 games of bowling was over $50.00. Have we gotten to the age where we can say to our kids "well in my day it was 1/2 the price"? lol. We had a great time and Tatum trying to bowl was so funny...unfortunately we forgot the camera so you are SOL for pictures =( Troy left for a 4 day work trip so I am a little bummed today.

YAY THE CARDINALS ARE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL!!!!!! I AM SO EXCITED. Troy had a bet with his brother Tim that the Ravens would beat the Steelers and lost so now he has to wear a Steelers shirt for an entire week....and that might get him killed around here. People are still really bitter over the game. Watched the inauguration today and that was awesome...Hailee didn't have school today because of it so she was actually watching it as well and asking questions and she did a really great job of comprehending what was going on.

We got some snow and by some I mean hardly any but still enough to make the kids happy. We went outside about 6 different times yesterday just go go play in it and had to go out once Troy got home for a snowball fight. Although Tatum found it more fun to eat the snow and just wanted Troy to hold her and run in the snow as she laughed the entire time...totally adorable!

Tatum wanted "Nake-Ups" (Make up) for Christmas and here she is putting it on using her new Barbie vanity. So cute. However, now I have to monitor the nake up time because she tends to eat it.

I haven't been updating this like I should be because I have been busy. For Christmas my dad and step mom came out and we had a great time. Went to DC to see the sights but saw about a fraction of what they have. I have been there 4 or 5 times now and still have not seen everything. However this time we went to Arlington and that has been the most amazing thing I have seen so far. Christmas was CRAZY!!!!! I would tell you what the girls got but it's easier just to say what didn't they get. The 2 kittens they have now are getting bigger and more work than I thought. The white one is Lepsy after Narcolepsy since she falls asleep at the most random times and all the time. The black one is Skitz because he is so skittish. The thought of you coming to get him makes him run and hide. He likes to play a lot with Lepsy and comes out now on his own time. Both of them enjoy sitting on me and passing gas (which is way worse than any humans). I find it really gross but Troy thinks it's funny of course. After my parents left Troys brother Anthony has been here. He took a job with Cheesecake Factory (yummmm) and is moving here but needed to find a place to rent or own before moving the rest of his family here. After many days of searching he decided on a farm type house on about 22 acres of land.....I'm excited they found something but even more excited that he's been cooking for us haha. It's been nice to see Troy have some family around. I know all this Traveling and moving with his job doesn't allow him to see them like he would like to.

So I have been off by a day...I have been thinking that today is the 22nd and my Dad and Dianne won't be here until tomorrow...WRONG! They called me today to let me know they were on their way. Glad I found out what today was because I would have sent Hailee to school tomorrow =)~ I'm excited. Hailee got 100% on her spelling test yesterday and another certificate WE ARE SO PROUD!!!

I created a new post but it doesn't look like it showed up. Troy and I spent our night after the kids went to bed watching House and wrapping gifts. Troy is so cute he wraps them like you would expect the greeter at Wal-Mart to wrap your gift (you know that guy). He was so into it and it was really really really funny and adorable. He thought it was bad and I had to assure him that the gifts could be wrapped in poop and the kids wouldn't care at all. =) I tried to upload some more pics today but Troy misplaced the cord to the camera AGAIN...although he swears it was me.

Last night was great =) Troy took me to dinner at Macaroni Grill and it was fun. The problem is when you order a glass of wine they bring you the whole bottle and leave it at the table (and it's not a small bottle) you pour your own and make tally marks on the table so the waiter knows how much to charge you......BIG MISTAKE!!! Hell-o does this waiter know me and Jesus Juice? I guess now. We both got a laugh out of it and I actually only had 2 glasses, totally full 2 glasses! Then we went to a movie and saw 4 Christmas' or whatever the movie is called with Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn. It was really cute and funny because it had stuff in it that pertained to our conversation over dinner. Well I am off to get ready for the day and see the girls and at some point take Scott to the airport. We got all the boxes of the families gifts and our girls are going to be so excited=)

So I just got Scott and the kids to his hotel and they are going to hang out with each other until tomorrow. Troy isn't going to be home until about 3ish so I really don't know what I am going to do...most likely NOTHING and just sit and enjoy the quietness. The sad part is that I have been looking forward to having kid free time and now that I have it I don't know what to do with it...and of course want the kids home =( I'm pissed that AZ is getting snow and we are not WHAT KIND OF CRAP IS THAT? Going to create Gooch a blogspot so she can give me update on the kids and such. Gooch do you have pictures on your e-mail of the kids or you that I can put on your website? Listened to that "I loved her first" song on my dads page and I cried. I am such a nerd.....So excited to see them next week. Hopefully Dianne doesn't hijack the plane. Dad just keep the booze flowing!

So I woke up this morning feeling really icky =( but the show must go on. I have so much cleaning to do since tornado Melissa left. I really haven't done any cleaning the past few days. Troy was suppose to come home tomorrow but he thinks he might be able to come home tonight YAY!!! Which means I have to get cleaning done ASAP. I saw a HUGE spider in the bathroom today while I was brushing my teeth and got the biggest shoe I could find to smash it....well I got it off the wall and looked for the body and didn't find it so now I am kinda freaked out that it's still in there. Every time I go to the bathroom I think it might retaliate and attack me. So today I am sick, cleaning and can't go to the bathroom. I have to get better by tomorrow because it will be the first date night Troy and I get since moving here since Scott is coming to see the kids for the day. Going to pick out the kids Christmas gift today and it will be furry with 4 legs and a tail (no it's not Tatum's twin).

Ok so I just started this blog site so hopefully I can be persistent and persuasive enough to get my family and Troy's family on here. Since we all don't live in the same state anymore it seems like a good way to keep us all connected and updated on our day to day lives. I have put some pictures up here from the past year and realized two things...1. I am NOT photogenic at all and 2. We need to take more pictures. I'm going to play around with this website all day so those of you who know me will know that I am going to be an expert by the end of the day. I will have more time to play with it once Tatum goes down for her nap. She is doing so well with her potty training but she wants to go every 5 minutes because I made the mistake to reward her with "potty pops" everytime she went potty. Now she is just trying to get something out to get candy out of me. SMART LITTLE TWIRP!!! So we are changing to a sticker method...that way we don't have to worry about a potty trained toddler with cavities. This past weekend we got our christmas tree and decorations up. Thank you so much momma Stephens for the Gift Certificate, our Tree is beautiful and I will be sure to put pictures up as soon as Troy gets back from his trip (he took the camera) on Wed. Hailee picked out the Tree and it's a cute 7 foot tree that has a wicked curve in it...but it adds character and it's what she wanted. Thank you Wal-Mart for making shatter proof orniments, so kid friendly. We made christmas cupcakes and marshmellow wreaths that Troy loves and his sister Tamera makes them...hopefully mine taste the same otherwise we are going to have her send some. Troys brother Anthony and his wife Rebecca will be her this week to find a house. Unfortunately they only get a few days to do it so I hope they find one (I know how stressful it can be). We are so excited to have them move here and finally have some family to hang out with. Hailee is really excited to have some cousins her age to play with. I hope we all can find some time during their trip to meet up because I really am looking forward to meeting the new baby.
